Wood Burning Stoves are beautiful and will fill your home full of warm but they are also very dangerous. Please make sure that a qualified person using the correct materials and practices installs your stove.

Please avoid unbranded and directly imported Chinese stoves being sold by importers via websites. They might look appealing, but often if it seems too cheap the reality is that it is too good to be true. We have seen the aftermath of these cheap stoves, many crack due to faults in the cast allowing poisonous CO to leak into your room.

What to look out for – any site offering stoves under one brand with poor photographs (often a picture of the stove against a wall, or in situ, taken with a domestic digital camera) Make sure that the stoves have a professional catalogue. Stoves without catalogues or poor quality a4 print outs often turn out to be poor quality imports.

Stove and Flue design and Installation

Not only can we supply such an array of multi fuel and wood burning stoves we are also the northwest’s leading Wood Burning Stove installation company and can arrange installation or project management of your wood burner by one of our qualified members of The Greener Company team.

We also design flue systems for our customers, where they have no chimney, using twinwall flue pipe. We know these systems are complicated which is why we offer a full design service. All you need to do is provide us with a bit of information, a few measurements and a couple of angles and we will send out your complete system boxed up and ready to be installed. We are used to liaising with architects and builders so feel free to put them in touch.
