When you install you a stove, then you need a few item. You need to have reliable source for

seasoned wood. But alternatively, you can harvest your own wood using a trailer to the home

where the stove is. You need a saw to fell trees and shape them into sizable logs that can enter

into the stove. You still need another equipment to cut them into sizable splits. The logs are

stored well horizontally to allow air to circulate and avoid rotting. Moisture meter can be used to

measure the amount of moisture in them to avoid burning wet wood which is prone to tar.

Alternatively, newspaper can make logs by damping them and pressing them and drying them

outside.

Indoor accessories

Choice of devices is made by the individual. A shovel, brush and a poker would be helpful

indoors. Poker can be flat for scooping ash while another one can be tong shaped to roll logs

inside the stove. Gloves are necessary to protect oneself from getting burned. However, wood

worm should be taken care of to avoid infections.

A fender as well as guard is necessary to protect children from harm if the stove is left

unattended. A thermometer is also good to judge the effectiveness of burning. In addition, it is

also advisable to have Ecofan to help in the distribution of warm around the house. A carbon

monoxide detector has also to be included in the list due to its vital nature.
